Used my Ford Pass Points and ordered the speaker for free. Figured ANYTHING was better than my stock speakers.

I opted to install myself and it was super easy. However the vehicle still needs to be flashed at dealer to send the full signal to the back. I feel like there’s a difference, but I’m kinda curious if they did it properly. The mid/treble sounds awesome and it almost seems like the flash also helped the front speakers too. Still needs a sub but it’s way better than stock speakers imo. Would I be happy if I paid $800 for it? Prolly not. But using points took the sting away. You also lose back window lol

Well as far as the writeup goes, nice purchase since it wasn't on your dime.

I think it's supposed to be in the rear view mirror? 😄
The sound bar above the seats? Seriously I feel so dumb not knowing where to look.

Hahahaha it’s in the rear view mirror. Can’t see anything out back cause of it! It’s above back seats.

Yeah I think it’s like a good $400 addition, but $800? Idk if it’s worth that. Now if I had a sub the system would sound really really good.

Yeah they did the flash. I do need to add the amp and sub. Which ones you went with?
I did the Plug and Play -- Kicker amp with Kicker powered sub

Would it be possible to install this under the rear seats or in another area so it doesn't block one's rear view?
