I run a Wolfbox fridge paired with a Bluetti setup. If you’re using the Wolfbox rearview cam system, the fridge integrates right into their app, which is pretty slick. The Bluetti has its own app as well, so you can monitor power, draw, and battery status independently.

For longer trips, I keep both a small and large Bluetti on board. The big unit stays fully charged as a standby for camp, and the smaller Bluetti stays plugged into the truck’s 12V to power the fridge while driving. I also keep a DC inverter on hand to recharge if needed, and so far the setup has been rock solid. For quick runs around town, the small Bluetti plugged into the 12V is all I need.

I'll add, I recently swapped out some of my Mountains2Metal setup. It compromised storage and made it a bitch to fit anything. Found a Bison Gear shelf that sits a lot higher and tucks back further in the cargo area. Its no longer a chore to get in and out of the fridge as a result. The fact that the M2M shelf flips up was really not helpful - especially when its loaded up with gear. It also rattled like a mother F.

Funny. I looked at the M2M shelf and thought to myself, “There’s no way that thing doesn’t rattle like a mother F.”

Just to clarify my earlier comment, I don’t think Mountains2Metal makes a bad product. Their stuff is actually really solid and the made in America is a HUGE plus. For me, it really just came down to functionality and how I use my rig.

I did keep my Mountains2Metal lower MOLLE panels because they give me a solid tie-down point for my Bluetti and fridge, but removed the uppers because I just wasn’t getting much practical use out of the limited space. The cargo just shelf didn’t leave enough room for some of the wider/taller gear I carry, so it stopped being useful for my particular use case. The rattle was also a deciding factor, and adding shrink tape to the latch pins helped some. But I ultimately gave up on trying to resolve, given it no longer suited my particular needs. I will say that M2M had previously reached out offering support and suggestions on how to remedy and their support has been awesome.

End of the day, there's nothing wrong with the M2M setup in general. It just stopped being functional for my particular use case.
