Disclaimer: I have not personally put my rig on a scale, but based upon specs and other info, I'm estimating that it SHOULD weigh around 3200 lbs with full fuel, etc. Single axle Ranger Trail trailer.

Ford factory hitch and wiring, installed at dealer. Wiring worked flawlessly.

Have about 15 miles of flat 2 lane from my house to the ramp on the Mississippi.

Hookup was easy with exception that the hitch isn't in view with the rear cam (yeah, it wasn't designed to tow, I get it).

Honestly it towed without much effort (better than my 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 3.6 and factory tow setup). Only thing I noticed was a little squat when accelerating from a stop sign, pretty minor. And I'd anticipated that given the soft-ish springs in the back. 10spd really handled it smoothly and I experienced almost zero sway or wag.

Would I tow it up north - 5 hours thru urban interstate, etc? Not sure yet. Have a trip in August and my wife will have the F350 so have to choose which one I want to pull with. Oh, and mileage wasn't horrible, observed sub 15 MPG.

Ramp is a short one with gradual angle, my buddy did put it in 4H pulling out but I don't think it was necessary at all. Straight only, then disengaged.

YMMV

Hitch extension! Then you can see it and actually reach it with gate closed!

Yeah our little 2 door does just fine hauling my FIL's 19.5' Starweld around. Weighs in around 3200 but tongue weight, as with most boats, is almost non-existant.

Now, I wouldn't want to run it up north behind it - unless I absolutely had to. It's pushing the little thing right to its limit, so even though it feels stable I just don't trust it.

And, you know, we've got bigger vehicles that CAN handle it.

Using a bronco to tow for 5hrs when you have an f350 just sitting there...seems like a bad idea!
