I have been looking for good strobing blue lights for the side ditch light position on my 2023 Bronco to connect to my auxiliary switches. Also, strobing blue lights that could fit in the opening of the modular bumper.

Does anyone have any good recommendations? I saw some options on Amazon but I am hesitant on their legitimacy.

In NY and NJ, as long as you have a blue light permit, you are good to go.

Okay, you've piqued my interest. For what purpose would they issue someone a permit for that?

Still looking for a Jeep cherokee from 2010 that was targeting women, pulling them over with blue lights and assaulting them.

fortunately or unfortunately in my career I’ve had every type of police vehicle besides crown Vic,s and explorers (unmarked , hidden lights) assigned to me, Jeep, Durango, tundra, another Jeep, Nissan suv, etc..

my experience is people have no clue what is a cop car anymore and certain nefarious segments of the population use that to target people.

Blue exterior lights? Don't. Just don't. You may think you're cool, but you aren't. Strobe and/or oscillating blues after that, even more so. What after that, a siren?
Can't explain for other states but in my state you must have a permission certificate from the local chief or commissioner of police, even for cops in their own vehicles.

Police are under enough public opprobrium from the media and our so-called political and cultural elites. Anytime lethal force is involved the cop is assumed to be wrong, especially if the suspect is a member of some "disadvantaged" demographic. And you want to go around with blue lights? Another excuse for suspects to flee police, which would lead to incident escalation and the increased possibility of somebody getting hurt--or killed. "Hey, I thought he was just some pretend cop, so I didn't pull over!"

Blue lights? Don't. Don't, don't, don't. You're more than irresponsible, you're illegal, and dangerous in ways--directly and indirectly--than you realize. Ask a local police lieutenant for what your state allows--or doesn't.

The simple purpose is to respond to an emergency efficiently and help out those in need (and is 100% legal in NY and NJ). Nothing more, your opinion may be applicable to others, but not me.
Perhaps you do have a legitimate purpose for emergency lights (other than safety amber). You haven't identified yourself as such. I, for one, do not accept that being a private-service EMT or volunteer fireman legitimatizes the need, although your local public safety authority may deem otherwise. Further, if you were an authentic public safety worker, you'd know whom to ask and where to go: obviously, you don't, or you wouldn't be inquiring on a public forum.

Perhaps you do need "to respond to an emergency efficiently and help out those in need," but for all I know you may be nothing more than a self-appointed do-gooder. I regret getting into a spitting contest with a fellow Bronco lover, but on the basis of the limited information you've provided, I'd appreciate it if you enjoy your Bronco without the accoutrement of public-safety apparatus.

If I'm wrong, I apologize.

Wow this is an interesting room….
Just for the record here in NY
Blue is for volunteer firemen
Green is for EMT
When I was both at different times I just used a tear drop.
My friend uses a light bar that mounts to the dashboard.
I think the easiest slickest looking are these

New York cops do not just use blue or green light hence why they are allowed. We are a good ol red white and blue light kind of state.
And yes I am a police officer.

Watching the On Patrol show this week, cops ticketed a kid in a slammed roller skate with blue under-lighting. Think it was in FL or SC.
