First Edition to Heritage Grill Swap

I wanted a more traditional look for the front-end to the Gen. 1 grills. When the heritage grills came out, I contacted @flip at Ruxer, and he hooked me up with the parts needed to make the conversion. I figured since I was doing that, I wanted a more traditional lighting look. I went with the Oracle Oculus heated lenses with the separate front marker lights. This was the closest thing I could see to swapping the lights versus placing a simple yellow lens cover over the oem light. I brought the grill to our local Caliber Collision in Hanford, CA and Roger and his crew hooked me up with a custom paint job to make it look closer to the original and matched the lightning blue perfectly.

For someone wanting to do similar on a blue-collar budget, RPM has their 'heritage' grill on sale for like $160. A can of Automotive Touch Up brand rattlecan in Eruption Green and a clearcoat cost me another $40. I angsted a while on argent silver to match my '72, but now I'm glad I went with a Krylon dark copper instead:

The son 3D-printed up the 'F-O-R-D' letters for the cost of a home cooked meal.

I got the same grill. Very affordable and better than the Ford offering (IMHO) as it has all the vent holes of the Gen 1 grill. That and it comes with the amber covers for the inner portion of the turn signal.

Seems fine. Bright as they always were.

I caught mine in a photo with hazard lights flashing, but same thing as turn signal flash. They look like this:
