So confused as to Ford’s process and the emotional yo-yo is killing me. Check every Thursday all summer for build emails. No, wait, all the MIC tops are hosed, we’ll get back to you in October. Hang on, we’re actually going to schedule FEs today, some with reservation time stamps after yours for good measure.

Truly happy to see you guys get scheduled, but this is making me lose my mind.

OK...I remember reading earlier you making a 6 pack bet with someone...I bet you don't go to dirt mountain! Are you in?

I'm in for a bet. There's no true way to know for SURE if I'll be in that lot. So maybe we set the bet parameters around date of delivery? My dealer is on the forum and says it takes 1-2 weeks for delivery by train. Let's round it up to 3. Let's say a week to build and 3 to deliver. Month after schedule date... October 27th.

I'll bet you I won't have it by then. If I lose and get it before then, I owe you a 6 pack and vice versa. Deal?

Lol, they forgot to click off auto scheduling like when they over allowed first edition reservations.

Except I still see people say “I was in first 3500”, yeah we all were in the first 35….. errrr I mean 7000.

Many First Edition reservations cancelled along the way due to.... they hated navy pier, FE's weren't special enough, and oh ya Ford added 3500, etc, etc. When its all said and done there will be far less than 7000 and even fewer 2-doors

Deal! I don’t remember west coast shipping times but that seems close enough. I think, I am sure I will get flames, but Ford stated October giving themselves a little cushion and the tops will be ready for these September builds. Yours will get built, inspected, moved to transportation staging and loaded on a train.
We all have different jobs and I am a project manager and there is just no way I or anyone in management would approve an aggressive date. Every date has already been blown and this is a big deal putting everything on hold. I think they put in the cushion and plan to deliver early. We will see. It is what I would do on any project I am running!

can someone clear it up for me..I called my dealer yesterday....did not get an email...but dealer showed me a vin and is said week of sept. 28...but when I check the tracker it doesn't show...At this point with no email and my ford page still says order with dealer...am I just being previewed?? and will get scheduled next round... but Ive seen people with that week get emails already.. anyway..Im so tired at this point...but I at least I have something from my dealer....

Well, If your dealer is showing you have a vin and production week then you should be good? Maybe check your junk file.

My reservation status still shows ordering with dealer but I received the prod. email Until you get the email I wouldn’t go off the dealer info. Try Ford Cs or check some folder.

Well, my dealer said I am Priority 01 now. It must have changed at some point the last few weeks, he's just not sure when. Progress, I guess?

Anyone got a delivery update? My FE has been “in production” for well over a month now.

You do know their not shipping any hard tops until they make a new one? They’re claiming October/November.

I see people taking delivery now with a hardtop still so I didn’t know if they are fixing and sending them out now.

In transit units. They won’t recall them back to map just ship new tops once they figure it out.

Anyone know where I can find how many FEs were already made? Guessing it’s based off VIN. Trying to see if I’m part of original 3500
