Originally upgraded all the factory speakers with Rockford Fosgate punch models and larger SSV pods with 6.5” marine grade punch series speakers. The 8” sub definitely helped and fit factory box with relative ease but the system was still lacking. Clearly there was very little signal going to the rear pods. Decided to add an amp and tailgate 12” Sub. Ended up tapping into the rear speaker signal at C300, installed an inline resistor and a Rockford Fosgate 5 channel amp to power the pods and tailgate sub. Killmat sound deadning throughout the rear, poly filled everything, just what the doctor ordered! The bass hits hard enough to feel it in the seats. Finally a decent sound system in the Bronco!
