Fake factory installed subs

Anyone Here of this...2024 Bronco with factory amp and subwoofer and the guy tryed to upgrade sub's and they
turned out to be fake???

Old news back from covid parts shortages. Ford gave a $500 credit but still put the sub box and wiring in. Turned out great for me. Was an easy upgrade.

It was actually only a $250 credit. Btw a working amp and sub from Ford cost $300.

Yup! Found a site in Texas that has the subs for $50 shipped, and put in a Kicker sub! All plug and play. Turn the sub option on.
Also, replaced all the speakers with Alpine Coaxials. Upgrade the back boxes to fit larger Alpines.

Not blowing windows out, but sounds so much better.

Yep, your right. I guess I had $500 in my head since that's what I paid for the Kicker sub and amp that I installed. $250 is better than nothing. Just glad the box and wiring was there. Just had to run a larger power wire, but I needed that anyway to tie my towing package and brake control to.
