Fabricating new OEM crossbar locations?

Greetings all,

i purchased a Thule Caprock S platform tray for my 2 door and the front two factory crossbar mount locations do not allow a good mounting point for the Caprock. I need to evenly space the front factory crossbars in order for the platform to sit where it should, in the middle.

Has anyone done this or have any ideas?

I want the platform centered on the roof. It sits too far back or too far forward mounted in factory bar locations.

Should be able to move bar to where you want it and then drill holes and use rivnuts.

I confirmed from a fabricator today that the stock points look like Rivnuts. Thank you
