I guess I’m the opposite. I got to drive a non-Sasquatch Outer Banks yesterday and it made me want my FE even more.I have a "late" (Day 4) reservation and (according to my dealer) should have received my Bronco this summer (before the hardtop issues). I will be my family's third-generation Bronco owner, as my grandfather and father both drove them.
I have sat in a Bronco and had the opportunity to drive a Badlands this week for 15 minutes. That was exciting, but it wasn't the Bronco I ordered or want. I cancelled my 30-minute test drive today because there is no excitement left.
I'm glad Broncos are starting to be delivered to customers, but the random factors of these deliveries are tiresome. All the unknowns are frustrating. I'm sick of all the hype on youtube and social media. I will be happy when my Bronco arrives, but until then, I'm going to hole up in a cave and forget I ordered a Bronco.
In a world of instant gratification and basically anything you want delivered in two days, I am surprised we don’t get more of these ‘woe is me’ threads. Nothing against you personally but the Bronco should supplement a small portion of your life right now, like a small fraction. There are plenty of others things in life to occupy your time and be grateful for. The Bronco is a luxury in life and it’ll be bitter sweet when we all get them. We will remember but quickly forget the agony of how long we waited but also that we have the most capable ride of our lives at our fingertips.I have a "late" (Day 4) reservation and (according to my dealer) should have received my Bronco this summer (before the hardtop issues). In today's world, instant gratification can be had in most transactions. Waiting on our Bronco is at the other end of the spectrum ... not knowing when and what we will get is killing us all.
Hang in there guys and gals. Once we get our Broncos, we will NOT remember this long haul.

Oh ya poor young lad. I have waited 25yrs! A teaser of a new Bronco came out in 2004 which became known as “the Bronco that didn’t happen”…..was even used in a futuristic movie. Due to the anticipation and waiting, I was on the ole’ interweb at the time of launch and reserved a First Edition and Badlands. My FE has a build date of 8/9 and have yet to receive the build date for the Badlands. Oh, by the way, gave the Badlands reservation to my brother.I have a "late" (Day 4) reservation and (according to my dealer) should have received my Bronco this summer (before the hardtop issues). I don't even have a reservation, so who knows when/if I will even get a Bronco. Imagine all the folks who like to see and checkout the various options in-person and test drive, showing up next spring wanting to buy ... and finding out they are way behind some dude who reserved a Sasquatch 2 years ago for his future weekly drive to the grocery store, lol. What a mess.I have a "late" (Day 4) reservation and (according to my dealer) should have received my Bronco this summer (before the hardtop issues). Agreed. One of my biggest disappointments of the 2017 JL design, was failure to better integrate the Wrangler front fenders with the body. Instead they look kind of tacked on. Much prefer the more integrated look of my CJ and TJ. But for Bronco the black flares give a better look than painted imho. It’s funny cause I think the jeeps look horrible with the black flares but I prefer the black flares of the bronco the painted flares on the bronco don’t look good to me just my 2 cents
