Engine Buzzing when Accelerating

I almost made a new thread but glad I searched first.

I have a 2023 with a MT and 2.3 and I got back from running errands for a few hours Sunday. Noticed when accelerating from a light with mild to medium acceleration that I can hear a buzzing noise, and it sounds electronic. Now that I heard it I can’t un-hear it and was testing it out. Doesn’t seem to matter what gear and under medium engine load. Not sure if it’s the injectors, but it definitely sounds electronic in nature like a certain frequency.

I got a better clip to hear. It sounds like a fan is rubbing against something. The radiator fans don't seem to have anything in them and when I spin them myself it doesn't make a noise. Nothing feels off about the engine or anything to do with the driving experience, just it sometimes makes this noise between 30 and 50 mph.

I also have a 22 BD 2.3l and that is not normal at all. Take it to the dealer

Have you found any cause? My ‘23 badlands has a noise like you describe and I found a blown driveshaft CV boot. Currently at the dealer, when I get it back I’m hoping that was the cause of the buzzing noise. Maybe check your CV boots?

I heard this recently. I was idling for 30 minutes then heard it after when driving slow and accelerating. Didn’t hear it again since that day/drive.

I have a 2022 Ford Bronco Black Diamond with the 2.3L Ecoboost and a automatic transmission. I have 4,000 miles on it and driving home I noticed this weird buzzing noise at low speeds when I would accelerate. About a half hour into my drive it stopped, but me being paranoid took a sound clip of it hoping someone could identify what the noise is. It's a little hard to hear it over the road noise.

Did you ever get a resolution to this? My 23 wild track is doing this now

Never found out what it was. I drove it for the past 2 years and over 50k miles and it never lead to anything bad. I think I just got used to the noise, it was only happened around when I was going between 30-45 mph. I actually just traded it in the other week so unfortunately I'll never be able to diagnose it further. But my best guess was it was one of the skid plates that at the right speed, it would hit the right resonance, and just make that noise.

Mine is doing it any time I puss the gas pedal. 0mph or 50mph and only for a couple seconds. It's send to be coming from behind the glovebox.

The thread was about an engine buzzing noise when accelerating and OP has a 2.3
I was just pointing out that you likely don’t have the same noise with a completely different engine
