I think you'll enjoy it.

Wife disliked listening to the stock LUX at volume. She would turn it down at the first opportunity. Something in there just squashes stuff ... and the messy low-end. I was meh about it.

Complete 180 with an audio upgrade. Huge difference in sound quality. Wife really enjoys the sound at volume now. It did entail swapping all of the speakers along with the amp.

Ask mObridge for their DSP tune. While their set-up is using specific drivers, the tune will get you close out of the gate with DSP time alignment, midbass boost, and the rears set-up for rear fill.

The amp itself is pretty much plug and play on the LUX save the center and rears. They provide a t-harness to capture the driver side wiring for those three at the ACM. Or, you can do as I did and re-wire them from the driver itself.

We do offer a 30 day money back guarantee for this reason, you're welcome to install it and if you aren't happy with the sound just send it back for a full refund. I am confident you will be more than happy with it!

I can't yet comment on if we will offer a black friday sale yet. Because we also sell through our brick and mortar dealer network we can't offer anything too crazy. In the meantime we did extend our bronco6g coupon for you guys on the forums for another couple weeks.

Also, anyone in the SoCal area is more than welcome to come listen to our demo car, just shoot me a PM.
If it works as advertised, I can't imagine being disappointed based on the specs and the ability to tune it, especially given the firmware updates on the website addressing things that I was concerned about (popping during stop/start, etc). The specs appear to meet any expectations that I have for an all in one solution. Best of all, I won't have to be jealous of the sound in my girlfriend's Bronco anymore.

Yes, I read they were using the Hertz drivers, which sound very similar to the Morel Maximo Ultra Coax speakers that I am running... It should be really close.

Thanks for the order. We are probably only few days from the restock coming in. We ship with the basic bronco tune pre instslled. I can email you the Hertz tune if you'd like.

I run the morel reference range in my car with our amp and it sounds incredible. They should out perform the Hertz speakers, I think you'd be better of with no eqing in my opinion.
I think try the tune with no eq points (basic tune). Then try the Hertz tune and see what sounds better. If you have a tuning mic this would yield the best results though.

I replaced all of the B&O speakers: Hertz 4" in the dash, some old Blaupunkt 6.5" in the kick panels, Infiniti 4" in the rear pods. That alone made a substantial difference in sound quality. Just added a 10" powered subwoofer from Kicker to complete the upgrade.
Didn't touch Forscan. System sounds great. Subwoofer install took a while, but was not complicated.

Just curious when taking into consideration building a new Bronco. Seems like neither configuration is gonna do it for me, so it seems smart to consider which one will be easier to upgrade. The 7-speaker already has an amp and sub that can be replaced, but the B&O has more speakers available for replacing/tuning. I know the B&O also has a DSP which people seem to have trouble replacing. Also seems like Lux may be forced on everyone MY24 if you want anything from the High package. In either scenario I've gathered that the upgrade step seem to be:
  • Try tuning with ForScan
  • Replace speakers
  • Add bass-blockers
  • Add amp for front speakers
  • Replace sub/sub amp (which has another 100 options)
Does this seem about right? Thanks!
the base bd sas stereo was garbage
i wenty co axle alpines deck and pods and alpine bottom kickers
went mti tailgate sub with 5 channel amp and processor
it thumps and is clear as live even with the tpo and doors off
cheaper then b&o and sounds better

Exactly. The stock system is pretty cheap to upgrade to something very decent.

The MoBridge amp is extremely easy to install. I am extremely happy with the support and the install process. It's as easy (if not easier) than the Kicker Key 200.4 with the Plugnplaykits harness. Scale of 1-10, with 1 being my girlfriend can do it and 10 being me hiring someone else to do it, I would give the install a difficulty of 2.
