Looking for some advice. I have a very early build 2021 (delivered 1st week of July). It has the "recalled" hard top on it. I am hesitant to switch out and I know there is a drop dead date on doing so. If you look hard you can see some honeycomb(kind of), and the gaps on each side of the rear side windows isn't perfect, but its pretty good. I fear that between the glass and gasket re-use and some safelite guy locally or whoever the dealership uses I will end up with something worse... Wondering if anyone has experience positive or negative with having the swap. I rarely have a good experience with any dealership as far as workmanship around me which adds to the hesitation.

I understand your hesitancy to get it updated... if you have problems with the replacement, those issues would be covered under warranty. If you don't swap it out, and the window closes, and then you have problems with the recalled top, then there's no recourse for you. Something to think about.
