Hey folks, I feel stupid but was doing some work and accidentally dropped a screw in the vent (photo below). Tried to fish it out with a magnet but either the magnet isn't strong enough or the screw is not magnetic?

Question - does anyone know how to remove this panel or lift it enough for me to pull out the screw? Seems like this is just one giant piece and I couldn't really get it to pull or anything. Just want to make sure the screw doesnt somehow cause damage in there somehow...

Any help appreciated!

Go to Lowe’s or Home Depot and buy a magnet on a flexible arm, fish it down in there and get the screw.

How about tying a magnet on a string, hanging it down there, and then driving fast on a curvy road? As long as there isn’t any other metal down there, you should be able to snag the screw. You can buy a magnet shaped like a donut so it won’t come loose. Then again, if the screw doesn’t rattle, then you’re probably better off just ignoring it.
