DRL when parked

I have the LED halo headlights. So recently I’ve noticed that my DRL only turns on when I unlock the car, on ignition, and when driving. When I turn the car on and in park, the DRL turns off but turns back on when I put it in reverse or drive.
Is this normal? Had the truck for 2 years and don’t know if this is normal or not since I’ve been messing with forscan for my tire recalibration recently.
Also if there a way to change that and
Have the DRL on when in park?

I think this is normal, my Mustang (and I'm pretty sure my Bronco) are both like that. Might be a Ford thing or maybe some type of regulation

Normal. DRLs only work when in gear.
