Although the tint is applied to the inside they more than likely cleaned the outside very thoroughly and possibly removed any previously applied water repellent. Apply Rain-X or any other water repellent treatment for windows and you should be good to go.
I did a thorough cleaning and applied RainX. We'll see if it's any better during the next deluge

Agreed... it's not just a Bronco thing. New cars aren't "clean". I travel for work and newer rentals are impossible to see through the windshield. My wife got a new Tahoe 8 months ago and it was the same. I picked up a new Bronco 2 weeks ago and it's also the same. Once the contaminated glass is thoroughly cleaned with a clay bar and treated properly the water has nothing to grab on to so it has no choice but to bead and roll off the glass. A simple clay bar and even a ceramic quick detailer is plenty... just don't allow it to evaporate like you would with a glass cleaner. Make sure to wipe it completely dry.

What you got against RainX!? Lol, I've sworn by it for every vehicle I own. On my bronco I rarely use my wipers in moderate rain. Bosch Envision for the wipers, on my last vehicle I had the same pair of Bosch Envision wipers for 5 years straight without needing to replace them. So far going on a year and a half with this set of Envisions and they're still streak-free. The trick is to just keep cleaning them at every fuel-up. Takes 30 seconds total.
