I just brought my '22 2.7L in for service at the Ford dealer and had them install the Ford Performance Tune.
When I picked it up, the tuning device was still connected to the car and the service tech had suction-cupped it onto the windshield. See attached photo. I asked them if it could come off, and they kind of shrugged and said most people leave it connected.
I had assumed they would just flash the computer and then disconnect it. Does the tuning device need to stay connected for the tune to work?
Separately, these guys didn't really seem to know what they're doing. How can I confirm that the tune has been applied successfully?
Thanks in advance
