I just wish they weren't the Dallas Cowboys version.
LOL!

Yeah, though it is aluminum. It would buzz right off.
Also, I believe you actually turn them away from the front, so it's hidden. That way the fasteners are at the front for easy tightening.

this is the price they should cost...But they STILL look like Band-Aids to me...
Many would agree with you. These are a bastardized version of the tube braces you would use on a field repair to get you back home.

It's a chasing the failure point game when you bolster anything with an intentional failure point. Hence the steering rack bushing to pair with it.

People who swap out the whole rack and upgrade tie rods tend to have even more magnificent failures happen, like axle housings cracking.

I'm thinking the brace and bushing might not be too much beefing to ask for trouble elsewhere.

What year is your Bronco are you certain you don't have the improved rack already and the improved tie rods?

Trust me when I say I'm fully aware...I have the 74WELD rack and jumbo RC tie rods. both of which I highly recommend.

With the shape that these come in, maybe they can machine some to actually look like bandaids.

Or maybe a band aid sticker made to fit.

I'm on the regular Squatch gear. I'm a 23 Badlands Sasquatch.
Really no complaints, but there's times when 37's would be nice, so I feel like I'm leaning in to the idea of collecting clearance kit/lift/rack and rod upgrades before the time comes.
