Im not reading thru all 7 pages of comments so if this has been said Im sorry..

Ive always waved at others when they drive the same vehicle (assuming its something unique, Im not waving at a toyota camry lol). Back in the 90s I had a miata. Owners would flip their headlights up when another one was on coming. I saw someone say its a harley thing, thats not true. Motorcycle riders of all types have been doing this since the beginning of time. Basically the wave is to show respect to a fellow enthusiast.

If this was the military, I would use my middle finger. Our sense of humor can be pretty dark. LOL. I think waving is beyond a Jeep thing. Do it when I ride motorcycles, see a really old hot rod and even wave and people with wedding/graduation decor on their rides. Cant we just wave?

Is it mandatory? i always thought that was weird. so far ive seen a couple broncos on the road and a couple times they flashed lights or waved. I thought that was just a jeep thing
Yeah i'll always return a wave but i usually don't initiate one unless the bronco or jeep is cool

I may have posted this before, maybe even in this thread...lol. I had a Jeep for 3 years, what I noticed was the ones that waived or acknowledged you seemed to be the ones in modified Jeeps that looked like they wheeled them. The daily commute crowd, didnt seem to know about it. I only waived if I saw someone wave or was out on the trail.

I was kinda over it after a few months, but I have gotten waves and honks, and flashing lights from other Broncos ive seen in mine.
