It's crazy that armorall is still in business. It has been common knowledge in the auto detailing industry to avoid this company at all costs. It RUINS plastics.

Use Aerospace 303 on everything plastic, rubber, or vinyl (except headlights).

My dad had a small detail and preventative maintenance shop back in the 70s and early 80s and he was preaching how Armor All cracked dashes back then. I've never used their stuff on a dash since.

Everyone eviscerating Armor All then recommending other chemicals! 😆

Those dash boards are a wacky composition no doubt! 😵💫

I just don’t touch mine at all, I blow the dust and dirt off with my mouth and have my windshield tinted. 🌬💨 😎

So far I've only used damp (water) rags followed by a dry micro cloth to wipe my dash and interior, the door panels and sides in the back are not glossy, but they're not dirty either. The dash looks the same as when I got it just by being clean.

I just don’t wash the inside. Ya’ll are way too fussy about a little dust on the dash. Same about the scratches on the doors and rear panel.

Now, I don’t use my vehicles as a mobile restaurant so perhaps there’s that. I do vacuum out the floorboards on occasion if I’ve been in the mud. But I haven’t washed and “waxed” the inside in 30 or 40 years.

The only thing I use on the inside is a little bit of Adam's Polishes detail spray, and a microfiber. It smells good and doesn't hurt any of the plastics at all.

Ouch. I can say I highly recommend Meguiar's Quik Interior Detailer for all interior surfaces, even the screen. I've used this for years with no problems on any vehicle, including Bronco.

Yep—I learned in the 80s that Armor All is crap on dash boards and trim. It was known to accelerate cracking on the dashboards of (then) 10-15 year old cars from the 70s. That they are still in business is way beyond me. I’ve used the Griots Interior Cleaner for years with no problems at all on all my personal and work vehicles.

303 as others have said and Chemical Guys has a great product I have used for a year and a half and works great and despite the company's name having chemical in it, their stuff is super mild.

They're such a huge part of the business I don't get it. Like 40 years of junk products apparently.

Armor All absolutely destroyed my old nissan 240sx's dash back in 2003. Damp microfiber does a good enough job

Not the first time I've read a horror story like this about armor all, I use meguires or whatever it's called and so far so good.
