Just opened up a dispute on my card from a December order.

I had received an email from them that mentioned December orders of the magnum stirrup were expected to start shipping by the end of July, and that was the last correspondence.

It's a shame. They really make quality parts and have proven that folks are willing to pay and wait for quality.

Interesting note: when I went back and tried to pull up my Shopify order, it was actually deleted . But I still have the receipt in my inbox.

Best of luck to everyone, I sort of feel inspired to get my own machine and see what I can cook up at this rate.

My CC dispute with Chase was ultimately denied because the transaction was too old (Nov 2023). At least I'm only out $150 for my shift knob and not upwards of a thousand like some who got stiffed on steps

I was one of the first to believe that this guy was a Douche. His arrogance and total lack of concern about his customers and their experience was incredible to me. After defending myself from his (now silent) nut hugging fanboys and other flying monkeys, I've been watching this total trainwreck. Back then, I thought he was simply a small time crook and grifter who simply was a terrible business owner. But now, in my opinion, it is clear that there is a long term pattern of fraudulent behavior, it appears that he never really intended to pay back his creditors nor deliver product to customers. It was obvious that he was a grifter, but it is so much worse than that. It looks like he may have retreated underground, but guys like this will often resurface.

They knew they couldn't fill the orders and kept lying to their customer base with orders outstanding going on more than a year. I want to know where all of those assh*les are that were defending them for months leading up to this in the forums, because they sure as shit are real quite right now.

If anyone is interested in taking part in a class-action lawsuit against them please feel free to message me as I am currently working with a law firm.

Absolute scumbag and a coward. He's lucky he lives on the opposite side of the country.
@Neon_Lemon: I am also out $230 for a badge ordered back in March of this year, likely too late to dispute with my CC. I'm an attorney here in Orlando, FL. Would love to help however I can - I also agree that the continued lies at some point can become fraud, once a business realizes it can no longer fulfill orders but continues to take in $ hoping to hang on or make a quick buck before folding.

If the business(es) do not respond to our request, our office cannot compel the business(es) to respond.



If the business does not respond or does not resolve your complaint to your satisfaction:



If the business(es) do not respond, or your complaint is not resolved through our informal complaint resolution service, your complaint will be closed. Our office monitors consumer complaints for possible indications of patterns of unfair or deceptive trade practices. We may open a formal investigation or take enforcement action pursuant to the Consumer Protection Act at any time if the facts and circumstances indicate that further action is warranted.

He is the worst of the worst, total scumbag. Just keeps making new companies to rip people off. If he can make those he can make the shit he has already sold but not delivered

I am an attorney in Orlando, Florida who was stiffed by Curtis/AR on an order I placed way back in March 2024. They have now ghosted me, and are no longer communicating with me about the order. I am now learning here on the forums that this is a familiar experience for many of you on here. It's looking like I won't be able to receive a refund from my credit card due to the amount of time that has elapsed since my purchase - I'm sure others here have experienced the same obstacle. I have begun investigating Curtis and his business operations and I am considering all available avenues of legal action against him and AR. I have followed this thread so I can stay up to date on other peoples' experience in navigating this nightmare. I will update here as well whenever possible.

Wondering how he could go out of biz with the prices he WAS charging? Geez, I start ignoring AR early on once I saw what he was charging....good quality yes, but yowza.
