I watched a video from a Ford Tech, he said change the oil every 5000 miles on the Ford Turbo motors so that's what I'm doing.
I also got an oil catch can but it collects very little oil between oil changes.

I thought the manual said something like 1 year or 7500 miles. I usually change my own, but took my 2022 into the dealer this time at 4500 miles and 1 year. I used my Fordpass credits so it was "free". Got the tires rotated at the same time.

I would absolutly recommend shorter intervals than the oil life monitor on these ecoboost engines.
5k yearly is pretty recommended for shorter changes or 7.5k/18month for slightly longer.
Fully agree. In 1K miles, the factory fill was already out of grade in my 2.7L. It was 8.9cSt @100°C where the minimum is 9.3cSt @100°C.

No way would I go 10K or even 5K on that oil. Fuel dilution is also a consideration for these engines.

Wait until 5K then every 5k after that. I never used time for oil change intervals. Just my experience.
