Is it possible to make a wiring harness adapter for the headlights to power fog lights or other aux lights? The body builder guide has the wiring info and the connector type. Can I make a plug and play adapter using either the DLR or high beam wires as a trigger wire for a relay for something else?

I got a capable bumper with factory fogs but I have a base model and I don't want to have to buy new switches or anything, I just want them on when the low beams are on.

Yes and no.

No, you can't power your fogs from your headlight. It'll throw error codes and cause problems in the BCM.

Yes but it requires relays/etc...

You could just go with our Dual Fog Kit and have it on 2 upfitters. Leave 1 upfitter on, that's how everybody does it for the most part.

When ordering just specify that you DO NOT have a factory fog switch so that we give you 2 upfitter harnesses instead of the typical 1x upfitter harness and 1x factory fog harness

Use an add-a-fuse tied to an unused fuse so that they turn on when the vehicle is on. $25

Direct power I understand. But in theory I can use a relay and use the signal as a trigger? That's much better for me, I don't want to use upfitter switches for that.
