I’m kind of disappointed, I feel like it should have been done with Bronco Bolts.

In all seriousness, that pocket screw job looks amazing. I was not familiar with the Kreg jigs, but just investigated them. Which one do you have? Seems to be quite a range of options, any recommendations?
I guess Kreg discontinued the one I use but this seems to be the new model and much improved https://www.amazon.com/Kreg-Handheld-Pocket-Hole-Jig-PRO/dp/B08BQ763FS?ref_=ast_sto_dp

Ive gotta do the opposite. I'm ordering the security drawer and need to raise the rear seat area back up to the security drawer.
Great idea - When you build one, I’ll buy it off you :ROFLMAO:

I was considering putting some slits in mine, so 2 ratchet straps can hold the platform using the existing tiedown points.

That and adding some drawers in between the supports. Someone else's idea of interchangeable drawers is interesting too.

I'm a "professional" woodworker.. I can make you a platform that will get the attention of all the ladies down at the women's auxillary club.

I was going to make a "wood" joke here, but I'll take the high ground lol.

I saw Justin McBride build his platform and honestly it made so much sense I had to copy him and do one for myself. This completely eliminates the hump between the cargo floor/backseat while introducing storage hidden underneath. My plan is to solo camp for a week or two at a time and this is the perfect easy DIY solution that anyone can knock out over a weekend.

Materials needed:

(2) 2' x 4' x 1/2" plywood, or (1) 4' x 4' x 1/2
(2) rolls of trailer bunk carpet -- Its almost the exact amount I needed so 3 rolls if you're concerned https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000KOTTK...abc_NQW774CAJTCF26SEDWHS?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
(1) 2x4x8 board - ended up milling my own but dimensionally each base support measured 29" long.
(1) spray adhesive, 3m worked great for me

If anyone wants the dimensions completed let me know, it was a back and forth between the Bronco and tablesaw but it fits perfectly now.

*disregard the patch job on the left support leg. Ran out of bunk material at the very last piece of endgrain lol
Nicely done. Although, if you get a chance, post a photo of your finished product in the Bronco...

I plan on doing something very similar but with two exceptions...

1) maybe try to find lighter material instead of wood because weight adds up quickly.

2) underneath beside some storage I'm going to put the sub speaker and an amp... Basically what my Rubicon has now. Incredible sounding.

Made a prototype of a door mover for simpler, faster and more secure movement to mount and unmount the doors from the bronco. Place the padded storage casing on the trolly pictured and slide the trolly and padded storage casing onto the door you wish to take off. Unbolt door and lift about a half inch and the door comes off and rests securely in the trolly while you zip up the door storage case. Then I built a prototype storage stand to put the 4 doors onto. It is the same height 19.5” as trolly to gently slide the from the trolly to the storage stand. No dings, no dents, no scratches. And I was board last weekend. More details to come.

I made a first try at my filler panel. Drawers are next but the idea is to have a flat area when the seats are back. Put the seats down, flip the platform forward and viola…nice flat carpeted space.
