Hey there!

So, in my humble opinion, the Max are a waste of money. Once you get to the Pro, there is really no reason to waste so much extra money for such a relatively tiny jump in power/output.
If you really want to have overall maximum output, and if you don't mind not having the amber backlights, I usually recommend a triple fog kit with Baja Designs lights. You can even do three full-size Squadrons in our kits, which can be customized with any variation of light patterns and colors.
Also, all of our kits will include our patented plug-and-play wiring that makes install a breeze and really clean.

Here is a link to some of the kits we offer: SPV Parts Ford Bronco Light Kits

I am currently offering our Labor Day Sale discounts early to anyone who calls/texts/emails me about building a cart. Currently we have pretty much everything in stock, so it's a great time to buy and know you won't have any delays on shipping, while still securing the lower sale price ahead of time.

Anyhoo, whichever way you decide to go, I would be happy to chat with you on a call and weigh the pros and cons, then get you a great deal with some additional savings, as well.

Feel free to call, text, or email me if you'd like help with this.
I would be happy to assist in any way possible.

Cheers!

Correct.

You can get more light (and street legal light too) with Diode Dynamics. AND you get the amber back-light built in. However Baja Designs lights are higher quality over Diode Dynamics. Not that Diode Dynamics is a bad product, it's a fantastic product. But when it comes to quality... Baja takes the title. When it comes to features and output levels, Diode takes the title.

We offer complete kits with Baja Designs and Diode Dynamics. Depending on the kit you get (fog kit, a-pillar lights, reverse, etc...) we also include our harnesses to make life easy. AND our harness is plug and play. Plugs right into the light without the need for any extra adapters (we don't just sell you a universal cable and then sell you adapters to make it work with your lights). Our Diode Dynamics kits include our harness with a DT connector that plugs right into the light. Our baja kits... they include our harnesses with weatherpack that plugs right into the light. This DOES cost us more money to keep so many harnesses on hand that we designed BUT it's less point of failures and less wiring mess. NICE and clean.

I'm not him, but the Squadrons are smaller than the SS3s, so if space or size is an issue, go with them.

My opinion between the two, as someone who has nearly all the major player lights (Rigid, Baja Designs, Diode Dynamics, Morimoto) at varying output levels across 5 different rigs:

DD has a slight edge with their modularity with lenses, bezels and cover kits. BD lenses tend to trend yellower than the amber of SS3s if that is a concern. The finishes on the BD Squadrons seem to be aging better than the finishes on the DDs, though recently DD has said they improved the new coatings.

The SS3s and Squadron SAEs are both high quality lights with solid reputation, performance and warranties, so whatever version of a 4 LED pod you pick will be a good one that will perform.
Yup. We can fit 3x Squadrons in our fog kits while the most (3") pods we can fit with the Diode are 2x SS3 and 1x SSC2 because of space. 3x SS3 just won't fit properly compared to 3x Squadrons.

Some customers do that. They do our open bracket with 3x Squadrons. But with our flush kits it's always 1x 3" light and 2x 2" pods.

But as I said, with Diode Dynamics addition of the new SSC2 2.0 Max that is becoming a VERY popular setup. 1x SS3 Max and 2x SSC2 2.0 Max for the ultimate setup.
