Thank you, and yes I agree will likely go with one of your dual reverse kits. Was really just looking to see if there was a simple solution to connecting the hitch light to an aux switch but I see now that's not what i was designed for.
Well there IS a simple solution, if you go with our harnesses :)

Sure... get the following 2 harnesses. You'll have to tape up the extra lead, since this is designed for TWO lights under the bumper. But just connect it to the hitch mount instead.

You WILL NOT connect it to your trailer harness anymore, instead, it'll connect in-line with your factory tail light (and you can also turn it on from an upfitter)

Reverse Harness w/Upfitter Control: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/crystalux-dt-4-pin-reverse-harness-w-upfitter-control/

This will normally connect to two lights (in your case, the one) and the other end goes up to an upfitter. This has a female DT connector which will connect to our in-line tail light harness here:

https://www.4x4truckleds.com/crystalux-dt-4-pin-in-line-bronco-tail-light-harness-2021-ford-bronco/

The in-line taillight harness plugs in-line with your factory tail light. The other end plugs into our reverse harness. This will activate the light automatically when you go in reverse. The red back-light will be illuminated as well normally as as running light. And if you have the C1R variant the red back-light will get brighter when you step on the brake. You'll also be able to turn the hitch light on from an upfitter as well.
Slightly OT here but related. Do you have a harness like this that would enable the use of Baja Design lights and the Packard connectors? Wanting to add some BD take offs from my last rig and the idea of using the backup circuit or aux switch is the best of both worlds. I could always retrofit the harness to go either Packard unless you sell the Deustch I could swap onto the lights (I have the pin tool)

What packard connector???

We already sell a baja designs reverse kit AND we sell harnesses to utilize baja designs lights on the back. IF you already have baja designs lights you need the following to complete a reverse kit

Brackets: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/kr-off-road-rear-bumper-light-brackets/

Harness: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/crystalux-a-pillar-wiring-harness-2x-wp-2-pin-connectors-baja-designs/

Tail Light In-Line Pigtail: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/crystalux-wp-2-pin-in-line-bronco-tail-light-harness-2021-ford-bronco/

All 3 are required to mount Baja Designs lights under your bumper and have upfitter control AND automatic reverse activation
