Did Active Grille Shutter settings recently change?

I could have swore I saw a thread on this recently but I can't find it. Maybe it was on another site.

Did Ford make any recent changes to the Active Grille Shutter system? I noticed my shutters are at a 45 degree angle down, i.e. open/closed halfway when the vehicle is off. I thought they used to be left fully open when the vehicle was shut off.

Doubt it. Unless you had a PCM update recently it couldn’t have changed.

I noticed the same thing. Mine are at 45 degrees parked now. Figured it might be the freezing weather trying to keep engine warm. Wonder if it was an update.

Mine are non existent thanks to Mr. Whipple

But as @Ducati1098 said, unless you had a PCM update, they shouldn't change.

Revisiting my old thread. I think the shutter position at shutdown may be outside temp related. Now that it warmed up here a bit in Michigan, my shutters are back at horizontal upon shutdown.
