I would think once you let your dealer know you could have your financing already set up. Get permission from the dealer to have a designated person pick up your Bronco when it arrives. I would even go as far as to take that person to the dealer to meet your salesman. God bless you and thanks for your service!Reservation holder since July21st here. I recently got orders to deploy overseas for about 10-12mo from May2021.
I still want my bronco more than ever! But I'm wondering if I can still place my order in January and have it so my Bronco is delivered when I return (Mar2022) time or later? What would happen if it is delivered before I return? Is it worth holding onto or placing order this January?
FWIW I want to order a 4dr Black Badlands Sasquatch Lux and also will wait as long as needed for the shadow black top and pullout tail gate. So that should help extend my delivery. But I am not sure if it will come before I return and what my options would be if it was delivered before I return.. Any insight or thoughts would be helpful. Also, I do want to custom order so I would not be happy if I had to cancel my reservation and completely lose my Bronco order.
I like the sentiment but when it comes down to it the only ones who can work this are the dealer, if they are worth their salt and have any integrity they will work the problem to help you out, I know I would, doing a power of attorney for pickup and the process virtually is a great option as well.If your dealer can’t make things work, tweet at / contact Mike Levine... if I was him (or anyone else at Ford PR) I’d love to see that you were taken care of so you wouldn’t miss out on your new Bronco.
You can do the full process online and virtually except for some paperwork that does need a physical signature but that can be scanned and faxedI would think once you let your dealer know you could have your financing already set up. Sure, but I hope that if Ford Corporate reached out to your dealership, looking to arrange some sort of positive PR event, you'd be smart enough to take them up on the opportunity.I like the sentiment but when it comes down to it the only ones who can work this are the dealer, if they are worth their salt and have any integrity they will work the problem to help you out, I know I would, doing a power of attorney for pickup and the process virtually is a great option as well.
Ah another kind soul. I was going to offer the same. "What? Those desert pinstripes? They were there when I picked it up for you"As a retired first responder, with a son preparing to enter the military, I appreciate your service. I have an extra garage, secure and private, that you can store your Bronco in, free of charge. I’ll keep the battery charged but won’t drive it (too much).

I went through them on my 2010 deployment but most dealerships can offer better pricing and I only had 30 days to pick up my vehicle upon return so may not work for OP. I wound up canceling my order with them and went to a local dealership and saved over $10k.Look into this. https://militaryautosource.com/
I bought a Ford Ranger while in Korea. It stayed at dealer until I returned. All paperwork went through MAS.
I am certainly keeping this in mind and def not opposed to this if I can maintain a reservation? I'm worried that there is a deadline to place the order for my reservation before they only start making dealer stock.. Going to sit down with my dealer and verify the options for sure.If it were me, I would wait. If you have deployed before, you know how it goes. You are not coming home early and have a good chance of being extended. I would at least wait until you are 90 days short and then place your order. Much better chance of timing your arrival with the Bronco delivery. Even that is a gamble if you get extended.
