some find it difficult to access rooftop storage.
I ordered this thing, and it ain't bad. Easy to move around to the wife's SUV, depending on which we take to travel and if I'm loading the cargo storage box.

I was shopping around for this very thing, but in the end... decided to adapt an old roof-top tent ladder that simply just latches onto my @TrailRax Pax Rax.

Specifically decided to go with that approach so I could remove the ladder and use it for other things around the camp site if needed. Also already had the ladder so it was FAR cheaper than the Land Rover copycats. Seemed like a far better option overall than a more permanent solution.

Don't know of anything for the OEM roof rack though.
Can you share a pic of this set up with the ladder. I have the roof rack and pax rax and am now looking for a telescoping ladder for roof top box access.

It’s at my PO Box in buffalo. It wouldn’t ship to Toronto so I have to go and get it. Unfortunately that won’t be until the end of the month….
You still around? Anything to report?

Literally just installed both side box and ladder last week. Waiting for my shop to color match the side box next week (comes in gloss black). I'll post pics of the setup in the a.m. I've received a helluva lot of attention and praises for the look. Personally I LOVE the look.

Don't have one handy—and it's no longer on the Bronco. I now use the slide-out tailgate to reach stuff on top of the Bronco, so the ladder is no longer needed. Ladder is currently being used by the kids for their tree swing... zipline... bungie cord.... thing.

The ladder came off of an old Yakima roof top tent. Skyrise?? Skyline?? Sky-something... I think. It just bolted onto the bottom of the roof top tent frame, so I took it off the roof top tent and bolted it onto the PakRax instead. Pretty simple, no frills.

There's a Korean overland company I follow on youtube that has the ladder intergrated into their roof rack that looks super clean. It's mounted to the roof rack and the frame.

Similar to the Trailrax PakRaxset up. What the "install" video did not show is that a slender wing-like plate is put in, between the rear-most hardtop section and the top of the fender assembly. You line that up with the three bolts which anchor the hardtop section. You then attach the bottom of the ladder assembly to that. On the passenger side, there's an equipment rack that is very similar (and maybe a little better than) to the TRMX PakRax. Not the bottom, horizontal piece:

@HeHateMe (above) suggested this. I have a similar device:

Very simple. We love to accessorize our trucks, but there's a lot of sense in KeepingItSimpleSilly. Most of the time, I just stand on a tire.
But for those of you with RTTs, especially with people of a less agile nature, yeah, a ladder of some kind makes sense. To tell you the truth, when I see an Land Rover with a ladder, I think: mall crawler. But who knows? Maybe they've got a cargo box up there filled with soccer balls?

The box and ladder are well-made. Both are mounted on steel frames and are sturdy. The ladder folds down and supports up to 300lbs. The frames of both the ladder and box mount to the roof rails and quarter panel. I had the side box color matched carbonized gray. My RTT should be here in a week or so.

The ladder looks great. If you had a platform on the roof you could stand or sit up there. Make for an interesting angel to get photos from.

I actually have a roof top tent on order but you are spot on, I plan to build a roof top photography platform to use for a couple of upcoming trips.

You'll make the tourons' Land Rovers on the Serengeti look like mall crawlers.
I tended to dismiss this kind of thing, but I must say, it looks good and practical. More weight and wind resistance, alas. It would be especially handy for a roofbox.
Me? I'm cheap and old school. Standing on a tire, I can reach just about whatever I need to up there.

Facts on all fronts. To each his own for sure! Personally, I love the look and will suit my needs. I am still averaging 18-20mpg with the added wind resistance so I say it's a win for me.

Just to be clear, you ordered this side box, ladder, and roof rack? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CV4R5DN...YFJL3WZQW&ref_=list_c_wl_lv_ov_lig_dp_it&th=1
