Like some others here I was screwed over by a dealership. I was supposed to get a 2dr Green badlands loaded. My dealership is great told me they had a trade lined up managers agreed to everything and signed paperwork Friday with a vin and everything was supposed to be here today. Well guess what, the dealership that was going to trade the bronco for xxx sold it over msrp.
As luck would have it my dealership had a 2 door wildtrak that a customer backed out of in Hot Pepper Red. So I’m getting the bronco tomorrow which is bitter sweet. As the wildtrak is not loaded and I really wanted the MGV seats and wash out interior. Rant done excited for tomorrow.

Not sure I understand what happened. Did you reserve and order the 2DR BL or were you just trying to buy an abandoned order at the dealer? Probably not much sympathy from this crowd if just trying to pick up a dealers rig.

OP's dealer was trading with another dealer for the Badlands. The other dealer sold the Badlands for over MSRP, which, most of us in the same situation, would also do. The "other dealer" had no arrangement with the OP. so, no, he was not "screwed over" by his dealership or, in fact, by any dealership.

Well I was, considering a legally binding contract was signed, financing approved by Ford. I even have a bill of sale. So yes I was screwed but not by my dealership.

Sounds like the dealership did not secure the vehicle prior to selling it to you. At least legally. However, if the other dealer did sell it out from a binding contract between the two dealers and subsequently to you, then you could have a case. And if they did, then they are banking on you doing nothing legally about it. However, I wouldn't be surprised if the dealer with the stock vehicle for trade caught a big ADM fish on the hook and colluded to trade some of the profit between each store as long as the dealer you were working with got you to buy something else which you acquiesced.

Your dealership "told you" they had a trade lined up for? Sounds fishy to me. Yeah you got screwed, but not by the dealership you're thinking screwed you!

Just where exactly was your dealership getting this sweet loaded 2dr green badlands from? Nothing personal but I wouldn't expect a dealership to transfer a fully loaded 2dr badlands to another dealership if they could sell it themselves with a huge ADM (or even at MSRP for that matter) . The dealership in possession of the Bronco did not screw you, your dealership did. Your dealership obviously made commitments to you that they could not follow through on with regards to that particular Bronco.!
