How many of you get little to no response from dealer rep. I don’t bug the guy but when I ask something I would expect a response. Only when I go around him to the owner can I get any response. Should I change dealers how tricky is that. I see lots of discussions about it but nothing in terms of a step-by-step process.

Oh yes completely. I am very patient and courteous. (Not a Karen). Just seems like the bronco sale isn’t worth their time and it’s a known sale.

don't forget the average time at a dealership for sales staff is low, like 72% annual turn over rate low and less than a third stay three years. (NADA stats)

The odds that your sales person will be there to get a commission when your truck comes in are low, so low in fact that they may not see any upside to spending their time bothering with you when they need to make a sale now to get paid.

That makes damn good sense then. That is the level of service being provided. Oh well I will just shut up and deal with it. Not much general concern for what people think of your work ethic now a days. Back to watching YouTube videos and dreaming haha

Hang in There. A personal visit often works.

I've found that an enthusiast will know MORE than a typical salesman. They are not on the forums using the tools we have access to, they just look in their computer and tell you what they see.

There is a vast difference in culture and values between dealerships, and many businesses in general. People generally like to rag on dealerships, but there are many first rate dealerships out there (not all of them). What type of communication are you doing? How often?

You will get more current information here on this forum than you will likely get at most dealerships. If memos and updates come from Ford, maybe the dealer sees them, maybe the GM sees them, maybe the sales mangers see them, maybe they get passed on to the sales staff. Dealerships have a lot of moving parts.

BTW, I worked at the Ford dealership here for 15 yrs, I know everyone in management. When I went to check out ordering a Bronco, my friend and sales manager got a salesman to help me. I didn't like him, thought he was full of shit. I got with another manager that actually took my place there, and he got me with the guy who had been to the Bronco event and actually knew what the heck he was doing. Big difference in my experience between those two guys. And, this is a very high standards, great culture, great reputation dealership. You might get a relationship with a manager there, or just wait and don't worry about it.

Everyone handles things differently, so here is my take. Other than my house, a car is the most expensive purchase of my life. My dad's house cost him 25,000.00. My Bronco will run close to three times that. I don't and won't tolerate auto sales service that is even remotely mediocre, much less inferior. There are too many choices among dealerships to accept crappy service. And the good ones are not that hard to find. Anyone that accepts sub-standard service in the purchase of this magnitude has created their own problem, may get steamrolled and can blame no one but themself.

Good point.

I'll be switching to my third dealer when ordering starts back up. First dealer was nonexistent, zero contact or returned calls, knew nothing in person. 2nd dealer would return calls but continued to lie about what info that had access to. That all came to a head when I started texting screen shots of info from some our Bronco6g members who are dealers lol.

I looked at the spreadsheet of dealers and who offered discounts etc. so confused if I should move. Also none are super close.
