If this forum had star ratings, @Buck Your Bronco gear would get the max from me. I'm very impressed with the small phone mount that I ordered from him, and will likely be ordering more of his stuff.

Long story short... I got to know him through email discussions and subsequent experiments into enabling factory remote start on manuals (no luck so far but still working on it).

I was so impressed with his thoroughness and knowledge that I gave his products a try, and was not disappointed. Unfortunately, he lost access to his B6G account when attempting to downgrade from a sponsor level to one of us regular peons; but hopefully he will be back! In the meantime I decided to give him a well deserved shout-out.

This "small phone mount" for slim phones is just big enough fit my Galaxy Note 21, and screws directly into the Bronco dash. The mount is seriously solid, with the only flex coming from the dash itself. Charley thinks that the dash mount can be tightened when I do my center speaker swap, and he also mentioned that he is looking for ways to reinforce the factory mounting point as well.

The mount has near-unlimited positions and tightens up solid in all of them. When at the lowest position possible, the Galaxy Note does not interfere with my field of view at all. I'm looking forward to trail apps on the big screen, but until then, this is the way to go:

Edit: And yes I am aware of the fact that I'm parked in a mall parking lot. 😂

Did you buy the "small phone" version or the larger one?

Oops I guess I should have mentioned that. My phone cases of choice are pretty thin, so the small worked perfectly. The larger holder's info mentioned that it is for phones with thick cases, so I went the other route.
