Honest question, taking looks completely out of the equation, where exactly is a Sasquatch going that a BL on 33s would have a difficult time following?

This isn't a pointed question or anything, I'm genuinely curious as I try to decide what to get.
Some of the trails im gonna wheel say right at the start 35s or bigger reccomended.

As an engineer who has worked with other Canadian engineers... seeing you refer to Canadian money then refer to inches (US) vs using metric (centimeters) threw my mind for a whirl lol
Hahaha ?. Yup. That’s how we do it over here. At least in Montreal. We speak in km/h and kms - but we also use inches and lbs when we’re building stuff. Definitely don’t ask me how tall I am or how much I weigh in metric. Lol.

I'm getting the BL w/ Squatch & 35's . I like the look/stance of the wider wheels and offset from the front/rear more so than what it looks like from the side . I only do moderate off road trails and it will mostly be a daily driver but if I decide later I want 33's then it's easier to go down a size than to go up properly . Plus if I select the optional wheel and tire and stay 33 then it's only a few bucks difference than getting the full blown Squatch . There also may be other small details that make the suspension different like slightly longer shocks , nobody knows for sure .

I really can't believe that I sat here and read 18 pages over this ,lol . I'm getting what I want because of my reasons and mine alone . I don't care if someone thinks it is overkill or that I cook my steaks a little too well done or that I may sometime put a little ketchup on it . I DON"T CARE !

I will LOVE my Bronco though :)

I didn't know that. Interesting.

Still, that may be, but I think it's safe to say that's not what's going on when I see them. I'm not talking about something that's clearly someone's off-road rig on a trail at night. I'm talking about these (below image) driving down 6-lane exurban roads in (completely flat) South Florida at night, except typically with much larger tires. Probably have train horns too.

I don’t have any pictures of these in action, but these are used strictly for night wheeling, and they are a game changer!
2 LED pods in place of my fog lights, and 4 KC rock lights. Nothing tacky, just functional.

True. A great place for a nap in the shade when at a lake in the SW.
Right, nothing more relaxing than laying down on rocky ground with a 1500F catalytic converter and the rest of the exhaust slowly cooling three inches above you. The occasional 200F degree oil dripping on you to keep you from oversleeping. Heaven...

I am sure it is a dry heat though.

Get your Bronco however you want it! It's yours to do with it what you will and you'll love it!

But putting ketchup on a well-done butterfly filet is just too damn far!

and C-rated ... they will not be loud.
Speaking of load ratings...

I’ve been told that an E load rating would possibly be a harsh ride on the Bronco (4 door).

BFG KO2’s come in a 295 which would be a little bigger than the 285’s but should still fit a BL without rubbing. They only come in an E at that size though.
Can someone give me some insight on this? ??

All things being equal, an E rated tire will be heavier and "stiffer"... and would lend to a more harsh ride compared to a lower rated or passenger tire.

Plenty of people run E rated tires on their Jeeps and off road vehicles. Plenty of reasons someone might want to.

Yep! I can totally see how that would be useful for nighttime off-roading.

You aren't lighting your suspension components in the wheel wells with green, purple, or blue lights purely for show like the trucks I'm talking about.

I think I am in the same boat as foregoing the squatch. I plan to upgrade to the 4.27 and do 33’s when the time comes for new tires. My off roading will be dirt roads and fields.
I have done a little research trying to find off-road parks. There is one about an hour south of you.

Yeah? Is it Timber Ridge? I have been there but never off roaded there. Our backroads in the Loess Hills are the best.

That’s the one. i believe there is one south of Knoxville as well. Still have plenty of time to research where to go since there are about 140,000 reservations ahead of me.

You might get yours before me! Is there an Iowa group on here? I assume there are more than 2 in this state.
