Anybody wonder if the roofline is supposed to represent their breakover angle? Kinda looks like it.

I have reserved one and will buy as soon as it is available. I don't think it will work for all off-road scenarios, especially here in Colorado we have so many narrow trails, even if CT has better clearance it is much bigger than the JL Wrangler and Bronco which makes it harder on some tight trails.

No accessories are available yet, I am sure after market will have it ready by 2022 when CT becomes widely available.

Sandy Munro has a good video explaining the off-road capabilities.

My brother reserved one as soon as it went live. He said if the production model is changed in any way he is out. He currently works overseas and I babysit his vehicles(his C7 is basically mine lol) and this is another that will be at my house 11 out of 12 months of the year. I love it and am excited to get ahold of it.

So when I see the cyber truck I see this rendition and I just wait for the ewoks to come running out of the woods and Chewie to come out the driver door. I mean I guess they can offer it in the Wookiee package to rival the Sasquatch package

Have you found anyone actually building roof racks, lift kits, bumpers or winch kits for them yet?
The size of the truck isn't even finalized yet (still a bunch of inner city whiny car drivers that can't wrap their heads or garages and a full size truck). I have seen a few innovative designs for lumber/ladder racks that look very doable.

I’m an Elon/Tesla fanboy and can admit it looks terrible. If you look at the stats, capabilities and price it’s an incredible deal. Alas, in the looks department it was a flop.

I’d be all over it if it looked a little more like the Rivian.
Now the Rivian is a sweet electric truck! Once they get their production going full steam, they may very well be a force to be reckoned with. If you have any doubts about what they are capable of, check out the show on Apple TV "The long way up" where the Rivian, along with the Harley Livewire electric motorcycle make the Journey from Patagonia in Argentina through South America and North America to California in the United States.

Looks like the imaginations are running wild, with the price of some of the upper tier Bronco's some may be tempted to look at all-electric alternatives.

Electric pickups like the Tesla Cybertruck are already catching the interest of avid truck fans: survey

The cybertruck is the poster child for the definition of FUGLY.
I think the designers shot their wad on the development of the technology and only had twenty bucks left to design the exterior of the truck. You get what you pay for.

I have never taken a second look at these things, so don't know much about them.

Do these things have actual frames and durable suspensions? Weight being the enemy of an EV's range, I always imagined that they would cut corners and durable engineering would be the first to go.... thus not be able to seriously compete with a Jeep or Bronco.

Because the design doesn't look functional for real life use, nor will meet NHSTA safety specs. "Cyber" has no connotation to automobiles whatsoever.

That's why I think it looks stupid.

So really you just don't like the way it looks
It's functionality remains to be seen

Yes. I said I think it looks stupid. Just as I think the Model 3 looks like a duck. And I think the Prius is ugly. And BMWs new grill design theme is stupid (and I'm a Bimmerhead).

The design may have producibility issues as did the Model X. It may cost more to produce than Tesla may think. The Model S was terribly expensive to produce. Production quality at Tesla is lackluster and mainly because of the production costs of the designs.

That's why I think it is a stupid design.
