the biggest issue is that the motor is supposed to only open 90 degrees before stopping, the motor as it is can open more then that, hence the code. i ordered a 2021+ f150 motor with the add relocation kit to try, they seem to share the same connector across most of fords lineup.
i have the same issue with my bronco raptor.
I would be interested in hearing your results if you dont mind sharing

Need some help/advice please?
Installed the CVF inercooler for my '23 Wildtrak including keeping the shutter motor/actuator connected and mounted to the included bracket from CVF, but I can't get rid of the P05A1 trouble code (no matter how many times I clear it w/the procal) for an active Grill Air Shutter A Position Sensor Minimum/Maximum Stop Performance ~ I've replaced the actuator/motor and double checked all connections and all are secure?

Thoughts?

I just wondered if you have solved this issue. I have a Mishimoto high mount intercooler and at first I didn't care about these codes. then I reset my battery monitor and believe it or not you will have a constant battery light on if the shutter system has an error. I did the same I removed the motors and attached them trying to get rid of the errors but now its this new error about the speed instead of not being there. just wondered if you found a solution.

I'm also getting this error - what can we do? Create a bracket that limits the rotation to 90 degrees like the F-150 variant?

Is it actually setting a check engine light? Or is it just a code in the system?
Because if it’s the latter, just leave it and don’t worry about it. The code isn’t going to hurt anything.
Oh that's good to hear - the Stop Performance text at the end of the code was unclear to me and made me think that the Performance tune was being throttled in some way, but that's just indicating min/max stop of the motor performance? Pretty unclear to me just reading the code honestly

Yeah the performance it’s referring to is the performance of the shutter motor itself, not the performance of the engine or anything else

Hey, did you have any luck with clearing the code?

My thought would be check the connection.

I did not install the louvers bcuz my my winters aren't that bad in jersey.

No issues since install in 2022.
