You always need a pickup in the fleet. The last time we got rid of ours we were constantly borrowing one.

I consider my 8' bed F150 a necessity, and I need the the ability to tow over 8000#..
I consider the new Bronco a bit of a novelty that will be alot of fun.. therefore I would be adding to the fleet, I won't be giving up my truck for a Bronco the size of an Edge...

Just bought a new Sierra Denali , the wife got pissed that I threw some bales of straw in the bed... i can’t imagine what will happen when I toss a dead deer in the back of the Bronco
I remember how upset my wife was when I loaded gravel and unloaded it with a coal shovel.. in my the new '85 truck.. 17 years later when I sold it she had calmed down...

Sell the current truck and buy a 2005-10 ‘beater truck’ and then get the Bronco. My 2006 Tacoma has gotten me through hell and back. It’s scratched, dented, rock chipped and getting rusted and I wouldn’t dare take the new Bronco where it’s been.

I picked up a M101A2 trailer in anticipation of getting rid of my truck. Swapped axle and put some 6x139.7 wheels and 35 inch tires. Bronco spare will slap right on if needed.

I’ve always had a truck most of
My life. Currently driving a tacoma. It’s been a great truck but after we built our new home most of my home projects have diminished greatly, which makes me happy, in an ideal world I’d keep the taco and get the bronco but for me it’s not realistic. So the truck will be sold or traded off for the new bronco...

I’m keeping my truck. Trailers are a bitch to store/park.

The bronco will have very low towing capacity and payload. Sure it can haul a light trailer with a couple sheets of plywood from home depot no problem but it can't do any real work. This will be even worse in a bronco when you try to offroad while towing or hauling any significant weight.

In my opinion you just have to have a truck in the arsenal if you seriously haul, tow or hunt.

What I would miss as much as the bed is the cab. The huge enclosed cab space in the second row is incredibly useful especially when combined with a fold flat floor and easy access by rear doors. The interior room for us tall people is perfect. I would never part with my truck.

I too like the beater and a bronco idea! Even better if you get a truck big enough to tow the bronco!

Ok so I am in love with the Bronco reserved mine early done B&P a million times over.
But some reason deep down in my gut I am nervous about giving up my truck for a SUV. I use my truck bed all the time not for work but constantly for projects.
I have found an awesome folding trailer that might work as a alternative but just still start to waver.
Is there any other truck owners out there feeling the same way?

BTW. I have been looking at gladiators ? ... I just want the just experience of taught the roof and doors off.
If there was a pickup of any size that looked as cool as the Bronco I'd buy one over the bronco.

The single cab, short box is dead and gone for ever though. I was even a little excited when I saw the F-150 Tremor package, but then saw it's only available with 4 doors. The upcoming Bronco pickup will only be a 4 door... it is what it is.

Bronco : daily drive, occasional fun weekend topless vehicle.

Chevy 2500 : Snowplow ( SNOW - atmospheric water vapor frozen into ice crystals and falling in light white flakes or lying on the ground as a white layer), Tow vehicle for pontoon boat, cleaning yard debris, dump runs, etc...

I hear ya sir. I can't be without a truck. I just sold my old Toyota, and picked up a new Ranger to have when my Bronco arrives. I have a Jeep Wrangler 4 door now, and no matter how hard I tried it just can't be used like a truck.

I'm keeping my truck, I have a 15 F150 4x4 SCREW with 33's, IVD shocks, RCI skid plates I built it for adventuring and long road trips. I can't part with it because of the carrying capacity and the 36 gallon tank, pre covid days I would carry 5-6 of my backpacking friends and all their gear on trips. Even car camping trips it would be hard to have just a bronco at least for me, my friends tend to like to keep their gear in tubs so that all goes in the bed. The flat floor in the rear seat area for the SCREW is amazing for hauling valuable gear aside from the bed also. Super useful as a mountain biker on shuttle days or even just carrying my bike in general, I don't like bike racks and it sucks being crammed into the back of my friends non full size vehicles when its their turn to shuttle. Plus having a truck as a homeowner is invaluable.

Getting a 2 door Bronco and it will be my fun trail and exploring vehicle. The f150 is too big to go in a lot of places offroad, but it has its place in my fleet. My Focus ST has got to go though.
