Hi,

I have a 4 door big bend 2023 without Sasquatch package Which comes with Hitachi shocks ( the black ones ).

My question is my Steering rack + tie rod is it different then the other’s model comes equipped with the Hoss 2.0 system with the yellow shocks

Depends... It's not a HOSS 1.0 vs HOSS 2.0, but rather a front axle disconnect that seems to make a subtle difference. There are something like 4 or 5 racks... The easiest way to know which exact rack you have is to run the VIN number against the Ford parts database.

The non-sasquatch racks are all essentially the same with regards to strength. So that's what you really need to know.

Yeah the HOSS system is independent of the steering rack. HOSS stands for "High-Performance Offroad Stability Suspension", and... well... only refers to the suspension components.

As @mpeugeot said there are a half dozen or so different racks depending on the model year, how many doors you have, whether you have the front-axle disconnect (FAD), whether you have the Sasquatch package, etc. etc.

And yes, all of the non-Sasuqatch racks are virtually identical in terms of strength except for the 2024 Badlands, which has the heavy-duty steering rack that people typically desire.

I have 2023 big bend 4 door with out Sasquatch package, I believe I don’t have front-axle disconnect.

I’m planning to install Ford Bronco Rack & Pinion Bushing Kit by Rough Country and there tie rod also.

Do you think it will fit my vehicle

No idea. Doesn't seem to be listed on Rough Country's website.

I think they remove it from their website because maybe BroncBuster Suit them because it’s a an exact copy of the BroncBuster Which is 350$.

Rough Country didn’t do the R&D they just copied it and sell it for 50 $

You can find elsewhere for example :

You'll probably have to contact Rough Country.

It likely would work fine honestly. But I personally wouldn't trust compatibility listings on reseller websites—they are often incorrect.

IDK about your steering rack but: Big Bends with the 4.27 ratio do not have FAD, but those with 3.73 do. Do to the missing locker hero switch I would say you have 3.73 and do have FAD

I have a 2023 Big Bend 4 Dr non-SAS. I'm running the RC bushings right now. I probably shouldn't have pulled out the factory ones though, they looked brand new before I started hacking at them to get them out. I left my OEM tie rods in there though.

I do have the FAD though, since I have the 7MT, at least according to this
