"Complimentary" Off-Roadeo - Legit?

Got an email last week like 6 months after my wife and I purchased her Bronco off the lot. I see threads of people getting invites (Not specified as "Complimentary") while waiting for builds and asking if it's worth it. The consensus is yes.

My question is, how "Complimentary" is this invite, and is it the same as the build wait invites? Are these things still going out, as I don't see much recently about them on here?

Like do I cover flights and lodging and just show up? No doubt it'd be fun to go to, but the sticker price on these things are pretty wild, especially if both my wife and I attend.

Anyone got an invite like this and attended?

I was a day 1 order- I did the off-rodeo for 100% free and back then they also gave us a $250 merch credit to buy branded yeti's, shirts etc.

It'll be a pretty expensive "free" trip, but it's a lot of fun…

Let’s not confuse him now. The Offroadeo is complimentary for one person; the travel and lodging is not.

If you aren't certain as to your eligibility go to the Offroadeo website and follow the instructions to create an account and register your vehicle (need VIN). That's a precursor to signing up for one of the sessions anyway and doesn't commit you to anything.

And be aware it's not really complimentary for 1 person. The cheapest would be for 1, $50 non-refundable Reservation Fee, and a $150 refundable deposit. It cost me $697 ($150 of which I get back) for my wife and I. Extra driver and insurance.

Same here for Nevada: $50 registration fee, $150 deposit (refundable), $428.08 non-driving passenger, $75 insurance, for a total of $703.08 US. I am Canadian so that works out to $950 CDN. Not cheap and even a bit excessive for the passenger…..

We will be there on October 11th.

I believe they have a current offer for a complimentary passenger. that expired sept or October. not sure. I just deleted the email as Im not going this year.

I will receive an email from FORD telling me when reservations will open. SO, NEW HAMSHIRE RODEO May 11, 2025. then I will find a place to sleep near this event. do you have any suggestions for sleeping.?&

It was September. I reserved a spot last week for the Nov. 30 event in Texas so my wife and I could both go. I did check and they are offering a $200 discount on guest.

$600 for an extra driver. But the $75 additional insurance made me laugh. "Limits your exposure to $3500 in case of an incident..."

It has the potential to be the most expensive free trip you've ever taken.

That all being said, it sounds like a boatload of fun. I'm considering it. We're only a little more than half a day's drive or so from the TN site. Drive down, a couple of overnights, drive back.

I was fortunate as my dealer has some marketing dollars from Ford and gave me a $500 gift card to the Off-Roadeo. Since it was in Vegas the gift card paid for the flight, hotel and rental car. About all I had to pick up was the food tab.

I just did the Moab Off-Roadeo a few weeks ago. TOTALLY WORTH IT (well, for me at least). I live in CO so I just drove to Moab. I also camped, so saved a lot of money on lodging.

My cost breakdown:
$150 deposit (which was refunded after attending)
$50 registration fee
$75 insurance (wasn't needed at all, but was good peace of mind for me)

Total (minus my driving and camping expenses) $125

So... it doesn't have to be expensive depending on where you live and which location you want to go to. You could make it a weekend road trip. The biggest expenses will be airfare and lodging if you go that route.

I stayed in a "Rustic" cabin at the Gunstock Mountain campground. Located at the event site.
