Colors molded trim and roof colors

You guys need to look at a raptor up close when you see one parked. Same thing ... the flares Front and rear bumper and grill are all dark grey and not black. It will be fine.

I don’t mind the grey MIC if it’s all the same color, but I’m pretty sure I have also seen some parts black MIC

Ford's website says the hard top is Grey and all other components are Black.

I do not think this looks great. Hopefully better in person. Ford might be using it as a way to force you to purchase a higher trim model

Why would you pick half the trim black and the roof grey? makes no sense.

Yep, there's a reason nobody makes faded black parts and there are so many products we all buy to restore things back to black. I sure hope they change the standard hard top to black. This might be a good poll to see if people would prefer the current molded in grey hard top a black hard top.

I sincerely believe the answer would be nobody. And maybe that's precisely why Ford is doing it... something else to pay for. Who knows.

Many different options on the roof, you can pay as an option if you wish to have it color matched.

Personally while black would be my first choice on the roof. No paint to scratch molded color throughout. The top will be on and off a lot for me.

Ford has removed the "Body Color Painted Hard Top" from all the 2 Door Models.

Wildtrak comes with a Shadow Black Painted roof - that's the model in the colorizer for the 4 door.

Hmmm... I had to go out and look at my Raptor. Flares and wheels are gray. Grill is black background with gray letters and trim. Bumpers are mix of gray metal and black plastic. The hood and cowl vents are solid black plastic. It looks fine.

Im pretty sure i have seen various parts(door handles, flares, hardtops) listing either black or gray color molded. I don’t think one is significantly worse than the other... but are they mixing black and gray trim on the same vehicle? I think that is kinda tacky

I am finally resigned to the fact that on Badlands with MIC top, the hardtop and grill will be grey and everything else black.

I guess the only way to get black is with the painted top. The Ford website claims that if the painted top is ordered, the grill and mirror caps will also match. If true, that might mean that they install the painted OB/Wildtrak/FE grill on Badlands with black painted top?
