I haven't replaced my windshield, yet, but I got my first rock chip, on the way home from the dealership! And it was right in front of my face—the worst possible place. I didn't even get the vehicle home unscathed. I was being very careful to follow the three-second rule and keep distance from vehicles ahead, but some guy passed me and pulled back in way too close and dink!
