Cigarette lighter?

Does anyone know if the lighter will installed at the factory, DIO, or ,,,,,,,,, Do I buy and install it as an after option. I am hoping it is factory installed for $62.

Do you mean literally the little cigarette lighter? Or do you mean the 12v receptacle.

If it's the latter, there are some in the Bronco (at least one in cargo area... and I think one in the center console?)... if it's the former... not that I've seen.

The cup ashtray is 40 bucks and the lighter itself is $62. I got a cup tray for $15 on Amazon.

I just checked the Order Guide.

12v Powerpoints are limited to the "center floor console" and the cargo area. If the "Center floor console" means *inside* the center console, then the $62 might actually be buying you an additional one that is more easily accessible?

I can't find any reference in the Bronco order guide to this option. Are you seeing it someplace? I very well could be missing it....

If I have to install it that isn't much of a deal. I guess I could replace a powerpoint with the lighter housing and element.


Both of my FFRs have a self installed lighter. My 02 Ranger has a factory installed lighter.

My dad had an 85 Cadillac sedan deville that had lighting elements in the backseat doors, nobody smoked in our family but us kids would keep pushing each one in to see how red you could get the element. Surprised we didn't burn holes in that red leather haha
