I'M STILL WAITING FOR GERALD FORD NORTH AURORA TO RESPOND TO MY QUESTION IN REFERENCE TO X-PLAN AND ADM......AND THAT WAS SOON AFTER THE LAUNCH! GRANGER MAY BE THE PLACE FOR ME!! I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT THE CHICAGOLAND AREA HASN'T JUMPED ON BOARD!Anybody committed to a good deal from a Chicagoland Illinois Dealer and reserved with them? Whats the deal? X=Plan?
I was assigned to Fox based on my zip code. Spoke to sales manager a few days after submitting reservation and receiving automated form email. Didn't ask about X-Plan. He did say no ADM but recall that was in context of paying MSRP. Following this thread as open to switching, joining group buy etc. There is also a Northern Illinois regional thread. May want to combine so we're all in one place/on the thread.Anybody committed to a good deal from a Chicagoland Illinois Dealer and reserved with them? Whats the deal? X=Plan?
Also assigned to Fox based on zip. Have only received automated Ford email after making reservation. Waiting to reach out to Fox until Build and Price drops at which time they should have all pricing info and be in a position to commit to a price (I can understand dealers not willing to commit right now). If at that time they can't come close to matching Granger I'll make the switch. Plenty of time to allow this to play out. Prefer to stay local but only up to a point, have gone out of state before and willing to do it again. It's less than a $100 flight (and with frequent flyer miles really only pay tax so like $10) and a 5 hour drive back. So for a tank of gas and a pork tenderloin sandwich or two along the way it's an easy day trip with benefits.I was assigned to Fox based on my zip code. I'm in central IL, 6 hours from Granger, sort of what I'm planning. So far no dealers in an hour radius will play ball. Also assigned to Fox based on zip. That sounds like a good plan. Give Fox or another local dealer a shot. If they can't match or come close go with Granger. Agree that its a short flight and easy drive home. Not sure how tax, title and tagging will work but figure it can't be too terribly complicated. Also assigned to Fox based on zip. Have only received automated Ford email after making reservation. Is Granger for real? I mean $1000 below invoice and no add on? The volume of reservations directed to them must be staggering. Almost sounds too good to be true. A no brainer.
As an FYI...I did make a second reservation with Golf Mill. Spoke to someone there who was very non-committal about ADM. Said decision hadn't been made and it might depend upon trim level...guess if they feel they aren't making enough on say the Base they'd add ADM but maybe not on Badlands. Needless to say when I heard that and learned we could switch dealers I canceled that reservation.
This is exactly where I’m at. Even if a local dealer comes within $500 of Granger, which I doubt, I’ll still go to Granger. They’ve earned my business where the locals have snubbed me so far. No call back or email has been returned. I have had luck with Facebook, but contacts are non committal locally.Granger is like 5 hours from me, I'm in the northwest burbs of Chicago. All of my contacts at my local dealers are gone so as of now I am leaning towards Granger. Its a pretty up front deal, and they have been more than accommodating to our questions and what not.
UNFORTUNATELY, I HAVE NOT REACHED TO ANYONE EXCEPT GERALD FORD IN NORTH AURORA, WHICH HAS NOT RETURNED MY EMAIL THAT I SENT SOON AFTER THE LAUNCH! MY RESERVATION WENT TO THEM WHEN I RESERVED A BRONCO, BUT GRANGERS IS PROBABLY GOING TO BE MY PICK!Anyone know anything about roesch ford?
Same. I am not interested in playing games, seeing as how this is going to be an ordered vehicle. An upfront, honest deal (and a good one at that) and how helpful they have been on the forum that is enough in my book to earn my business. This is exactly where I’m at.
