Gillespie Ford called me and told me come in to fulfill my order in late August. They insisted a shipment of Broncos was on its way. Since then, they haven't responded to email or phonecall. So I'm definitely switching, most likely to Granger. Someone said I should try Napleton Ford in Libertyville. Haven't done so yet though.

I wonder how many reservation holders they’ve duped with that phone call? We bought a 2015 Kia Optima new and ended up buying in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The local Chicagoland dealers were terrible too work with. So far, same holds true with the Bronco.

Best I can offer is that Buss Ford in McHenry is doing straight MSRP with no ADM. I'm going to start calling around to other dealers in McHenry Co., but I'm not optimistic at this point. I'd really like to be able to keep my money local, but doesn't look like anyone is interested in competing. Which, honestly I don't understand. I would think they would be more interested in being the local point of contact for all your service for the life of the vehicle... but, I don't run a dealership, so what do I know? ?‍
