Checkin Post: Apple Carplay Lost Connectivity

Sad to report that my two week old 2024 Outer Banks with the High package has issues. About every 4 or 5 times I get in Carplay connects and starts to play but I have no sound. I have to put the phone into airplane mode to get it to disconnect/reconnect and after that it works fine. Phone is an iPhone 14 Pro.

Update: I got an iPhone 15 Pro a few weeks back and the phone and car have not had connectivity issues, either when plugging in physically with a cable or wirelessly. Fingers crossed.

Is your new phone still working correctly with Carplay?

My iPhone X has completely stopped conencting to Carplay and i'm debating on getting the 15.

It's not just the Bronco, as my wifes phone connects all the time, and I have trouble connecting even to rentals.

Yes, amazingly it seems to have resolved the issue. I would note that others on this thread have reported similar issues with newer phones including the 15 so who knows if this is a permanent fix.
