One thing I regret in getting a Black Diamond is not getting the Badlands. I’m finding myself spending a lot of money to make it one. One being the headlights. Any ideas on the cheapest way to change them for the look of the Badlands? Same with the crappy (one bulb) tail lights.

Finding some OEM takeoffs would be the way to go for the headlights. I’ve seen them from $700-1500 for a pair in classifieds. Should be plug and play.

Not sure if the taillights are plug and play for the LED ones?

Hey, at least you have Sport Mode. It is inexplicable to me how Ford left Sport mode off the Badlands but all the lower trims have it.
This right here, can’t imagine not having sport mode.
Love my Black Diamond
Thinking of the oracle headlights tho, I saw those on a rig this weekend and thought they looked pretty dope!

Easy to add though with Forscan. Not so easy (cheap) for the lights.

If you purchased Black Friday from @4x4TruckLEDs.com, after rebate they only cost $400. A no brainer upgrade that’s substantially better than factory

I got 50$ taken off recently from offroadalliance for the morimoto. It’s a small discount but it’s something!

Something is definitely better than nothing! Honestly at the price point and no discount these lights are worth every penny. Definitely install the spacers they provide or you will be taking the grill off again to install them. Install is very easy and a one beer project

Yeah that’s all I saw as well. Thank you! Those who are thinking of getting the Black Diamond, just get the Badlands. 😝
Eh, the only advantage for me would have been the M210, but I’d be changing the gears anyway, so I’m completely happy with my BD.

IMO Black Diamond is the value off-road/rock crawler trim. I think it's a good buy, either that or base is the best for a purpose built second vehicle for off-road use. The fancy lights are superfluous to the goal of the trim.

I made the switch on my Big Bend. I found some OEM signature headlights on eBay for $900 and sold my non signatures for about $500. Then, having never done more than change flat tires on a car before, I followed the instructions on a Stage 3 Motorsports video and swapped them out myself. It was remarkably easy.

I'm not sure about swapping out the rear lights, but I swapped out both of my bumpers and with the rear bumper I installed flush pod lights to give me better lighting in the back. Instead of tying the flush pod lights to my reverse lights I connected them to an auxiliary switch to give me more flexibility.

Here are before and after pics:
