  1. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

Great minds…. Such a well designed kit, and they work great! Should be easy enough to remove and put on correctly.
  2. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

Installed the Ford Performance hood struts. Not sure why I waited so long to get these, they are great!! btw, if you mess up like me and the logo is upside down it is easy to remove the struts by gently pulling up on the little metal clip shown below
  3. Installing Fox takeoffs Hoss 3.0

Update: Had the Fox takeoffs installed with the springs from the yellow Bilsteins and it works great. Took way longer than I expected as I had the springs powder coated…. Much smoother on road and was able to off-road a little today at the local OHV park and it felt very nice.
  4. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

Tested the new upgrades at the local OHV park. Big fan of the severe duty steering rack and the HOSS 3.0 Fox coilovers.
  5. 4.88 or 5.13 with 35s and 7MT

Good points, I’m all set there. I have the procal and will be replacing the fdu, the driveline, the half shafts and regearing the rear end. It will all be programmed in when finished. Already had the severe duty steering rack installed so whatever I go with it will be solid. Btw, before the...
  6. Mabett Giveaway: What Did You Name Your Bronco?

Meet Pumbaa and Flicka. Pumbaa is named after Disney’s Timon and Pumbaa. With warthog being Ford’s code name for the Braptor and Pumbaa being a lovable warthog it was fitting. Flicka is named after the horse in the movie My Friend Flicka which I loved as a kid.
  7. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

Had severe duty steering rack and procal tune installed. I wasn’t gonna do the tune on my little manual but since I had to buy the procal for the steering rack I went ahead and did it. So far so good, dealer thought it would take them a day, took them 3….. noticeably smoother and easier...
  8. 4.88 or 5.13 with 35s and 7MT

I've been playing with your calculator and understand it better now. Thank you for this it is very useful.
  9. 4.88 or 5.13 with 35s and 7MT

That's interesting, I haven't looked at it in that way. I was always looking at my stock BD with 32's and trying to stay close to that. But considering the base is 30 inch tires and people seem happy with the way it drives with the manual that may sway my decision to the 5.13
  10. 4.88 or 5.13 with 35s and 7MT

I am ordering the new FDU from Ford Performance, they have tons of options for the gearing. Would love to find a takeoff one and save some money but have yet to run across one.
  11. 4.88 or 5.13 with 35s and 7MT

Yeah, I think your logic is sound. If I go with the 4.88 and decide later on 37s then worst case is I pay to regear later.
  12. 4.88 or 5.13 with 35s and 7MT

I looked at your calculator earlier, interestingly it puts my stock set up in the red (32s with 4.46)
  13. 4.88 or 5.13 with 35s and 7MT

Dusty went 37s and loves it, thanks for the link. I watched his youtube video on this and was very entertained.
  14. 4.88 or 5.13 with 35s and 7MT

I definitely would go 5.13 if I was definitely doing the 37s, my issues is I may end up keeping the 35s. Such a conundrum.
  15. 4.88 or 5.13 with 35s and 7MT

Hello all, Really having trouble deciding which gear ratio to go with, I'm thinking the 4.88 is ideal but I wanted to hear what y'all experts have to say. I have a Black Diamond non sas manual running 35s, It currently has the 4.46 and I don't mind the way it drives at all but I am adding a...
  16. Flicka, the 2 Door Iconic Silver Bronco on polished revolver mags wheels

Thank you, any color Bronco is alright by me 😎 I did like that cyber orange (school bus yellow) too, hope they bring a version of it back someday.
  17. HOSS 3.0 Suspension Kits - Now available from Ford Performance!

Just put these on, didn’t buy from Ford, takeoffs from a wildtrack. So far I am loving them.
  18. Flicka, the 2 Door Iconic Silver Bronco on polished revolver mags wheels

Been a while since I made any changes to Flicka so I’ve had the itch. Just got new Hoss 3.0 fox shocks, with powder coated springs to match the black diamond interior. Also my icon UCAs were finally installed after sitting in my garage for over a year. Next up is Hoss 3.0 Severe duty steering rack.
  19. Installing Fox takeoffs Hoss 3.0

Great information on both of those posts, pretty much tells me that it’s worth a shot, haha. Gonna take it to my buddy’s shop tomorrow and see if they can get them in with the existing bilstein tophats and springs. I’ll make a post letting the community know what happens.
