Change order with no VIN

I have an order in for an Outerbanks and currently have no VIN. I just did the off-rodeo this weekend and now realize I have to get locking front and rear diffs. It seems like the easiest route is to select the Sasquatch package. The dealer says the order banks are closed and I cannot change my order. I heard that I can make changes up to the point that I receive my VIN. Can someone please clarify? Is there a way that I can simply request adding the Sasquatch package?

That is not correct, I actually ordered my OBX 2/22 and changed it to a BL on 05/04. They initially said no I can’t but I pushed back and said that it can be updated as long as it was not scheduled for production, under something called Job #2.

Changing to sasquatch for some versions of the bronco is a series change. Let your dealer know you are serious and would like to see them at least try to see if something can be done. After all, it's more money in their pocket.

You can add the Sasquatch package to your order. When the order banks open again your salesperson needs to update your order.
