Center display freezing on startup

I have a 2022 BL High. I'm starting to have issues with the center display. The center display will freeze quite regularly when getting in/starting the vehicle. It's becoming a problem. Sometimes it freezes up on the backup camera view so you have no idea what's behind you. I've already had a few close calls backing up thinking everything was clear but the screen was just frozen.

I think it happens more regularly on cold/hot days when my car is outside. The only workaround right now is to force restart the screen by pressing the volume-power and fast-forward buttons simultaneously. I'm not sure what to do besides bring it to the dealership but I'd like to understand what's causing the issues before I do.

Anyone else have this issue?

You are not alone. I started a thread on this topic that is currently in page 5.

Also, to save you some time, the Ford rep here will just ask for your info to update their CRM and then tell you to make an appointment with a dealer.

Same, It's an issue alot of us have. Ford knows about it, they say updates are coming etc.. It's like they are just keeping a count on the number of complaints. Enjoy my Bronco, but am never confident that today won't be the day of catastrophic failure, sitting waiting for a tow truck. Til then, I motor on!

same seems to be since the last upgrade that came down, I'm to the point where it happens multiple times a week. I have to hard reboot the system sometimes 3 times to get it to work

I’m also having the same issue in addition my (R) button does not work. My vehicle is a 2023 Bronco Raptor. I read on a thread to disconnect the battery for 20min to resolve my raptor mode. This helped for about a week and now I have the same problem.
