Either flood or combo will work to throw a good fog pattern for the S2s, however, either the @Baja Designs Squadron SAE or the @Diode Dynamics SS3 SAE would probably be your best bet for a dedicated street-legal fog.

This is the basis of my original post, seeing if there have been brackets and bezels made for the capable bumper and a 4-LED pod. Here is what the Squadron SAE-R (round bezel, with a cupped edge vs the flat oval pictured above) looks like on a Toyota 4-Runner kit.

Here's the LED pod full line-up for both vendors:

https://www.bajadesigns.com/Products/led-auxilary-lights.asp

https://www.diodedynamics.com/off-road-auxiliary-led/led-pods.html

Here is a comparison video that shows you many of the current market offerings for high-quality 4-LED pods and their throw patterns, though it is a bit outdated, being shot in 2020.

Here is a similar video on 2-LED pods like the S2.

I use both, they both are stellar quality. I do prefer the Deutsch Tech plug of the Diode Dynamics products over the Weatherpac-style of the Baja Designs, but that's nitpicking to a whole different level.

extremely disappointed not a single vendor has stepped up on the capable

it’s like they don’t even realize it’s the standard bumper on two very popular trims

It's a brand new item that's only been out 1-2 months now. And they are not that popular, at least where we are we can't find a single Bronco with a Capable bumper.

Sooo it's not as if Vendors are not stepping up, it's a NEW bumper that's not that available right now.

Not yet. I’m kind of wanting to wait now until that new DD fog light comes out tomorrow

It’s round and it looks like it might be a better fit.

I like the idea of the Ford performance Rigid fog light on their site but I don’t know if it works with the capable bumper? It seems like it would. But alas they are too expensive and my OEM fog lights work great.

Has anyone looked into the Rough Country slimline series LED light bars? They are very compact. I'm wondering if there would be a way to put them on the top of the bumper under the grill? This is something that I'm considering for my Bronco. I guess the only question is whether there is enough surface area on the bumper to mount those brackets......

I think the BD S8's are roughly the same height. I was hoping 1 of those would work.

Looks like 1.6" high

Did you receive your lights?

So, tried to get a kind of accurate measurement of the OEM fog light in the capable bumper...

As best I can tell, the diameter is 3.3".........

So....the DD (SS3 light) kit that @4x4TruckLEDs.com sells to replace the standard bumper light has a height and width of 3.3"....same as the opening on the capable.

This new ELITE series fog light that they are selling shows a diameter of 3.6"......so.... .3" larger....so, now I'm torn on trying that if it's gonna be too big, but I like that it is ROUND like the OEM light.

Anyone else measured the opening in the capable? I did this without taking the bumper off, just from the front.

Also following. Wanting to do the same thing, a little light in the gap next to the fog light. Any update on that?
