hey op, did u get the suburu mount variety, and did it work?

I know it's been a while. But after a lot of research I finally bit the bullet and placed my order for the Subaru Crosstrek / Forester kit. It should arrive by next Monday and I'll probably install it during the next weekend. I'll post an update by then.

I found a post from a Subaru community on Facebook and apparently they have been installing Bronco Foglights Takeoffs at least for a year now.

So almost confirmed they fit, and Subaru also uses H11 light connector for their fog lights, same as Ford on the Bronco and the Ranger.

Yea everything seems to match on paper, thank you for being the tester! Can’t wait to see how it goes

Hi Everyone, as I mentioned earlier, I have a mount that is, among other things, compatible with Subaru (Ford Bronco is not listed), and the bolt spacing fits perfectly, so I believe it will be fine – have a nice day

Yes, Thank You!

your comment is what made me actually confident that it was possible, further digging just confirmed it. I'll post an update one I install them.

They Work, but with some caveats.

Right now the lights are aligned too low and there is no room for alignment, so illumination is not good. I’m planning on removing the bumper again and remove the circular plastic shroud so I can gain a few mm of alignment and try to point them a little higher.

Another options would be installing a few washers between the bumper housing and the lights bracket to retract them and make room for minor adjustments.

I have the IAG Bullbar, and the bullbar has to be removed before removing the bumper so I'll deal with that in a few weeks.

As you can see they fit flush to the Bumper:

The only modification I did was breaking some guides the bumper has for the OEM Foglights, there are 5 that needs to be broken but they break very easily.

I'm planning to post a full writeup one I fix the Alignment issue. I'll tag you if you are interested.

Thank you! That would be awesome
It looks sick! I am waiting on seeing how the other company (Baja/DD) Black Friday sale looks before pulling the trigger on these (sad to see KC only has 10%). I’m glad to see someone shared the same idea I had. Thank you for the tips and I’ll be waiting for the write up!

Update:

Yesterday I removed the Bumper and installed a few washers between the Bumper Housing and the Fog lights bracket. This pushed the lights back a little so the lights had space to push them up or down for alignment. I didn't had 25 feet's of flat surface to align them as recommended but with some math I figured the beam drop for 5 feet's and align them accordingly.

This fixed my issue and now the lights are functional.

Image are not a great indicator here but they looks cool as hell. This is regular headlight (short beam) + Fogs

I had to do some errands at night and no one flashed me for my lights being too high or whatever.

I still want to check my beam height at 25 feet's eventually to make sure they are properly aligned.
